New First Aiders
Last weekend 12 of our amazing volunteers spent the day updating their First Aid skills ahead of our return to rugby training. This now brings our total to an amzing 34 qualified First aiders amongst the Jersey Reds Minis and Juniors community.
Head of Medical Andy Clarke said "The safety and immediate care amongst our age groups is hugely important. Our volunteers have now learnt how to treat and care for any of our players and supporters should their new skills be required, as well as how to support more expereinced medics in more complicated situations.
These skills will also help them assist the rest of the islands community should an incident happen outside of rugby.
A big thankyou to Marilee from First Response Jersey for delivering and producing a bespoke course suited to our training sessions."
