Uckfield v Jersey U16

Lads once again were at the airport early & travelled to Lewes where the game was being played
During the warm up words of "encouragement" were necessary to liven them up
This obviously worked as Jersey took to the field & soon took an early lead through Jacob Vaughan which was converted by Willoughby Spry, this set the tone for the first half with Jersey scoring try & some successful conversions through the side and some difficult conversions including one which was like a cushion cannon shot in snooker from Willoughby in off both post, Uckfield had one visit into the Jersey 22 which resulted in them finally breaking through the resilient defensive line & scoring a try, a minor pothole on the onward trajectory of the play, halftime score was 22-7
The 2nd half kicked off with Jersey carrying on their well connected style of play with numerous try scorers & with their heads up & playing fluid connected rugby started to run riot  including some selfish link play from Henry Edwards feeding Jacob V an inside ball for him to run under the posts like a furry Tasmanian Devil to score a great team try
Vaughany was given man of the match but anyone of the lads could have been awarded this as all 19 played unbelievable meaning that Uckfield had only one visit to the Jersey 22 after finding a lucky line in the 2nd half which resulted in a  deserved score
final result 12-55 to the lads in red
