Pulborough V Jersey U16 Boys

Jersey RFC U16s travelled to Pulborough for a challenging match in lovely wet rugby conditions   
 
The first half saw a Pulborough showing their dominance by scoring in the first 7 minutes. , Not letting the first try get the down Jacob Watson stormed through with Jersey first try 11 minutes in perfectly converted by Ryan Allen- Le Bas. Pulborough went on the score 2 more tries in the first half .  Jersey had 2 substitutions in the first losing Max Le Vesconte and George Powell to injury, Finn Roberts came off the bench and put in an impressive shift as Full-Back. Jersey had a hard working first half with some impressive scrums and line outs. 
 
Jersey came through fighting in the second half with Carter Ferey breaking through to take the first try of the second half. As the rain lashed down and the wind picked up Jersey still stood strong with Eoin Mann storming through and scoring Jerseys third try of the match, with Ryan Allen- Le Bas swiftly converting the try.  
 
Jersey kept pushing forward in the second half but unfortunately Pulborough broke through scoring their fourth try of the Match leaving the very wet match at 24-19.   
 
It was a tough day but only one try down Jersey now get ready for their next game against Crawley on 17th November.
