Guernsey U16 Girls v Jersey U16 Girls

After a delayed start due to weather - lightening on the pitch . The U16 girls 10 a side match started on the main stand pitch at Guernsey's Footes lane Stadium, putting girls rugby in the spotlight after many years of playing on back pitches. With no substitutes the 45 minute game experienced a loss of momentum due to guernsey injuries but the Jersey girls played well as a team to great crowd support. Tries were scored by Maggie Mann & Iris Willmett.
